Terms and conditions of use
A) Excelgene's products are available only through your fitness or health professional. If you do not have one please contact us on 02 8765 9300 or email us to find a trainer in your local area.
B) Results take up to 3 weeks from the date of receiving samples. Please contact head office for enquiries.
C) information and examples within results are guidelines to be used in conjunction with a supervised fitness or nutrtonal program.
D) All DNA is destroyed at time of analysis. Further or repeat testing requires a new sample to be provided to Excelgene's laboratory.
E) Each customer DNA kit comes complete with instructions. Failure to comply with instructions may result in poor or inadequate sample collection. Administrative fees may apply with replacement kits to repeat the test.
F) Excelgene results are sent via post to the address as directed by the owner of the sample. Whilst every effort to delivery timely results, Excelgene is not responsible for delays in the postal service. Electronic results are available via written request.
Privacy policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy is Excelgene’s official internet privacy policy and it applies to all personal information collected by Excelgene. In this policy we explain how and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, and what controls you have over our use of it.

Without these details we would not be able to carry on our business and provide our services to you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other businesses or the content of websites that are linked to our website. Excelgene encourages users to be aware when they leave the website and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
Security and storage
Excelgene places a great importance on the security of all information associated with our customers, clients and contractors. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.
Personal information is de-identified or destroyed securely when no longer required by us.
Excelgene retains the information you provide to enable us to retain adequate records for legal and accounting purposes. This information is held on secure servers in controlled facilities.

Access to and correction of personal information
Excelgene is committed to maintaining accurate, timely, relevant and appropriate information about our customers, clients and website users.

Inaccurate information will be corrected upon receiving advice to this effect from you. To ensure confidentiality, details of your personal information will be passed on to you only if we are satisfied that the information relates to you.

Website statistics
When you visit the Excelgene website to read, browse or download information, our system will record/log your IP address (the address which identifies your computer on the internet and which is automatically recognised by our web server), date and time of your visit to our website, the pages viewed and any information downloaded. This information will only be used for the purpose of website analysis and to help us offer you improved online service. We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of Internet browsers you use or the website from which you linked to our website. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing a more effective online service.
